Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum PMartitiem Museumrins Hendrik was formed around the collection of the Royal Duch Yachtclub, which was founded on the wishes of Prince Hendrik, brother of King Willem III. The Yachtclub was based on the Willemskade in the building that now houses the Wereldmuseum (Ethnological museum). Both museums have their roots in the Yachtclub.
