Every summer Rotterdam is full of festivals. Here you find a couple photo impressions of recent summer festivals,like the Summer Carnival  and the World Port festival.

Rotterdam Festivals
     
From 2 through 6 June 2021  the city will host a special edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam

 



Sunday  24 October 2021 will see the 40th edition of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, one of the fastest marathons in the world. In the international NN Marathon Rotterdam many of the national and international top runners compete, together with a total  of over 10,000 runners of various nationalities.    Track
     
From 11 thru 13 June 2021 , the Rotterdamse Schouwburg (City Theatre) will be alive with voices, words, sounds and images, exotic, familiar and everything in between. During the 47th Poetry International Festival, 


     
On Friday 8 Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2022 Ahoy' Rotterdam will open its doors for the 35th edition of the  North Sea Jazz Festival, the world's largest indoor jazz festival and one of the highlights of the European Cultural season.  


     
The colourful parade celebrating the Rotterdam Summer Carnival has been postponed to 2022.  The parade is part of the Rotterdam Unlimited festival which starts  with the Battle of the drums .

 



 August 2021 feature films can be seen in the open air in het middle of Museum Park during this year's edition of Pleinbioscoop (Open Air Cinema). Orginal version with Dutch subtitles
    



World Port Festival  (3-5 September 2021) offers a spectacular show of what goes on in Rotterdam's port, one of the biggest in the world. Live nautical demonstrations draw the masses to Rotterdam





Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Seamen's missions organise their annual Christmas fairs in Rotterdam. At these fairs there is a wide range of Scandinavian food, drink, art and craft ware, design, clothing and of course Christmas decorations for sale.
